THE OPPORTUNITY

Active Talent is partnering with an established law firm seeking a Property Lawyer with 2+ years PQE to join their Alexandra-based team.

This is an opportunity to continue developing your legal career within an experienced and supportive practice while making the move to one of the South Island’s most desirable regions.

THE ROLE

You’ll work across a varied property practice, managing your own files and building strong relationships with a broad client base, to include:

Residential property transactions
Sale and purchase agreements
Refinancing
Subdivisions and property development
General property matters
Direct client contact and relationship management
Wider private client work depending on your experience

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You’ll have the autonomy to manage your workload while having the support and expertise of an established wider team around you bringing:

2+ years PQE
Sound property law experience
Strong communication and client relationship skills
Confidence managing files with appropriate support
A practical and solutions-focused approach
Strong attention to detail
The ability to work independently while contributing to the wider team
