THE OPPORTUNITY
Active Talent is partnering with an established law firm seeking a Private Wealth / Private Client Solicitor to join their Hamilton-based team. This is an opportunity to work within an experienced and supportive practice, advising a broad range of private clients and families across trusts, estates, succession planning and wider private client matters.
THE ROLE
You'll manage your own files while working closely with clients and the wider team across a varied private client practice, including:

Wills, trusts and enduring powers of attorney

Estate planning and administration

Succession and asset planning
-
Trust establishment, administration and restructuring
-
Relationship property and asset protection matters
-
Advising individuals, families and trustees

Direct client contact and relationship management
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You'll bring sound private client experience together with the confidence to build trusted, long-term relationships with clients, including:

Relevant New Zealand legal experience - At least 3-5 years of PQE.

Experience across private client, trusts, estates or succession matters

Strong communication and client relationship skills

Confidence managing files with appropriate support

A practical and solutions-focused approach

Strong attention to detail

The ability to work independently while contributing to the wider team
